Presentation: Culture Weapon

Culture Weapon is a digital exhibition that explores how trans self expression intersects with cultural roles, spirituality, and relationships with nature. Through their varying practices, artists Puppies Puppies(Jade Guanaro Kuriki-Olivo), aegor ray, Deán Santo and Ava Tuitt sustain, reshape, embody, and sometimes reject these intersections, sharing their own negotiations with collectivity.
Informed by ECI’s expansive evolution as Yearly Emerging Practices, we announce a series of workshops, presentations and sessions that speak to this current moment: ReFrame. With intention, we are and will be reframing the ways we support current Fellows and those who come to witness emerging curatorial visions, how we tune in to the needs of our creative communities, and how we can contribute meaningfully towards shaping dynamically inclusive ecologies.
As we continue to evolve and ReFrame, we will engage in offering multiple languages and accessible formats when possible and within our capacity, in affirmation of the diverse communities we reflect, deeply respect, center and want to support.

Inspirado por la evolución expansiva de ECI como Prácticas Emergentes Anuales, anunciamos una serie de talleres, presentaciones y sesiones que responden al momento presente: ReFormular. Con intención, estamos y seguiremos ajustando las formas en que apoyamos a los actuales becarios y a quienes llegan para presenciar visiones curatoriales emergentes, cómo sintonizamos con las necesidades de nuestras comunidades creativas, y cómo podemos contribuir de manera significativa a la creación de ecologías inclusivas y dinámicas.
